Light Through Leaves
This piece was inspired by views encountered on my runs through the Wissahickon, and was one of the last three clay-based pieces I created. This is a cast from a silicone mold of a clay original. The cast is made of Hydrocal, a mixture of plaster and gypsum cement, and then painted with acrylics. The two pieces are the same color scheme but vary slightly due to being hand painted.
