Black Water
This piece was a quick attempt to capture depth, movement, and reflections of water in three dimensions. This was the second of the last three clay-based pieces I created. This is a cast from a silicone mold of a clay original. The cast is made of a mixture of Plaster of Paris and white glue and then painted with acrylics. The addition of the glue to plaster strengthens the piece.
